Faridpur Debate Forum is a fresh initiative towards debate who has been working as the central debate forum in the greater Faridpur district including Faridpur, Rajbari and Gopalgonj since 2005. So far, FDF has organized numerous workshops and debate competitions amongst the schools and colleges of the district. Many educational institutions namely Rajbari Debate Station and the recent Faridpur Medical College Debating Club has been established with the help of FDF. Three successful debate festivals were organized with support from the local NGO RACINE. FDF has also done different debate exhibitions over a month at the biggest Book Fair in Faridpur. FDF has an annual publication on debate that is published on the occasion of each festival. Other than that, FDF is a very active member of Bangladesh Debate Federation (BDF) since its birth and was the local partner in the BDF National School Debate Championship with MRDI and AED. The School of Debate has been the latest initiative by FDF which would involve students from all backgrounds to learn debate. FDF has started the
